Writing The Song “Love One Another”

“Love One Another” by Jordy Christo

The song “Love One Another” was written early one morning as many of my songs are. From start to finish, it took about an hour for the lyrics and instrumental parts to be structured. The words of the song are all from Scripture. From the moment I hit the opening chord, the entire song effortlessly flowed from Heaven to Earth.

Biblical references for Lyrics:

John 3:34
Love one another as I have loved you.

1 Corinthians13:4-7
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Matthew 5:34
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
