As I Was Innocently Walking Along

Innocently walking along an old familiar narrow path
On the forth step I saw too much

It made me go backward two steps
That’s where I learned to truly trust

As I looked at the challenge of what lie ahead
I realized the mess was piled high and couldn’t stay

With a giant leap of faith I hurled right over the top
I Landed five steps away

Then I moon walked with confidence in my stride
Backward another four steps with a wide grin

One more sleek and smooth slide backward
I found myself resting in His arms again
