A Little Daddy Daughter Time

What’s special about spending a little time with you
Rain or shine we can find something to do

Sitting in the Outback waiting for the sky to clear
Listening to favorite songs and feeling God is near

Hugs in the car and smiles in our hands
Fried Oreo cookies, Corn Dogs, over puddles in the sand

Family, Softball Sheriff with snow capped hair
New fathers, old friends, sights and sounds of the fair

Modular origami, Sea Lions and little Kangaroos
A dad with a huge smile because he’s spending time with you

Fifty and twenty four still acting like little kids
Precious memories being made watching curly tailed pigs

A little daddy daughter time has filled my heart again
You made me feel special by inviting me instead of a friend
